I recently bought this album - I love this girl. She writes and sings from the heart. There isn't a song on the new album that doesn't seem to speak to me right now. I had earbuds in while driving to pick up the kids this afternoon and this song came on. I had to pull off and just wait. . .and thank God for the beauty He sends to us just when we need it.
"You wait in darkness for answers that you can't see." My gosh - much more powerful than my own emotions about my friends news was this realization; that she has no answers, that the waiting feels like darkness, that in trying to stand she feels she's crumbling, and that at the very end when she doesn't know what to do anymore, all she can do is breathe.
Diane. . .keep breathing. Keep believing. Don't let go.
